Dipu was brutally killed by some unknown assaulter in the campus near the VC office a few days prior to his death. He was taken to the hospital where he fought for his life for 5 days in the ICU of Dhaka Medical College Hospital. He stayed in Room 336 all the way from the beginning. Since he was Nationalist Student Party, a student wing of BNP he became a victim of student politics. The loss of such a talented student is still mourned by his friends.
